Join us for a live webinar on June 13th, 2025, offered in collaboration with UPMC. This webinar equips frontline healthcare workers with knowledge to support the growing population of older adults living with HIV in long-term care settings. Participants will explore the epidemiology of aging with HIV, understand advances in treatment including U=U and PrEP, and develop strategies to address stigma that impacts quality of care and patient outcomes.
Upon completing this session, participants will be able to:
- Review the epidemiology of people aging with HIV and its impact on long term care facilities
- Identify advances in HIV treatment and prevention (U=U, PrEP) that keep patients healthy and reduce the risk of transmission
- Discuss HIV stigma and its effects for people with HIV
